Password protected worksheet

GARY

I created an Excel worksheet and password-protected it.
But, I've forgotten the password.
I can open the worksheet in a "read-only" mode.
Can I use "Save As" to save the worksheet (with a new name) without
the password? How?

Hi,

Do the following;

1. In the Save As dialog box, Click the Tools list arrow.
2. Click General Options. The Save Options dialog box appears.
3. Click Always Create Backup check box.
4. Clear the Password to open and Password to Modify text boxes.
5. Clear the Read-only recommended check box.
6. Click Ok, to return to the Save As dialog box.
7. Enter a file name in the File name text box, and then click Save button
to the the active worksheet in the Workbook.
