I have a folder I created with some important docs I scanned. Some of the
documents are .pdf and some are .doc files, a few are .bmp.

How can I password protect that folder so noone can open this folder and
view/alter the files within this folder.

I Have WIN XP (SP3)
Office 2003
Adobe reader 7.0

Thank you

A password protected WinZip file may do what you want. My favourite sodtware
for securing files is TrueCrypt (open source and available from
www.truecrypt.org)
