Password prompt when accessing sharepoint list through linked tabl

Hello All,

We have a requirement where we have to link to various sharepoints lists
through MS Access using linked tables. This is functioning correctly however
every time we run a query we are prompted for a user name and password for
the sharepoint site.

Does anyone know what could be causing this - even if we select "save
password" then we still get prompted. Currently this is on Access 2000 format
but have also had problems when using the Access 2003 format (Version of
Access is 2003)

I'd really appreciate it if someone could help with this issue... it's
critical to allow us to schedule tasks overnight instead of us manually
entering passwords everytime a list is read from the sharepoint sevrer.
