Password Prompt for users folder

Is there a way to have a challenge/response for access to
a user folder? I need this because I have users who want
to acces there user folders while logged into a generic
login that is used by multiple users.

how about opening windows explorer but "run as" someone else (i.e the person
who needs to login to its folder).
Just right click in the windows explorer link while pressing "shift", and
select "run as..." .
Then run explorer as the username and password that you need and you should
be able to access the folders for that user.

Yes, assign individual username and password to each user, and
permissions on folder to match users.
