Password Policy

I have password requirments enabled for our domain as well as complexity and
password history retention. I cretaed a user that is required for a certian
application. Is there a way to reset the password to what I want it ot be
withoout obeying the Group Policy settings? My initial thought is the remove
all GPO's and then set it and then reenable the GPO's. My concern is if I do
this wouldn't this remove for exaple password history for all user account
and the password history would start over once I enable the GPO's again.

Hi George,

If you create a new user in AD, you don't need to pay attention to the
password histroy enforcement because password history policy enforcement is
done only for password changes in which the user changes his or her own
password.
