How do I turn OFF password manager in vista basic, I have no intention of
storing PW on my laptop even if encrypted.

First, You don't need to post the same question three times in a row. Sorry,
just letting you know.

Second, I think you will need to do this,
Open up the Control Panel (in the Vista Default view, not the classic view)
Click on the User Account and Family Settings
In the Left Column
Click on Manage your network passwords
Just remove the passwords that you don't want stored.

Is that what you are looking for?

Thanks for info, its not quite what i wanted, after clicking on User Account
& Family settings I don't get an option to Manage Your Network Settings, its
not really a network problem. I get asked if the Password I have entered do
I want if managed by the Password Manager, I get this every time I enter a
PW for any procedure i.e Paypal-Ebay-Banking etc.

I did not intend to enter the question 3 times on 2 occasions Vista kept
telling me that my user id was failing indicating that the message was not
sent, when in fact the ID was ok and the message was sent.

That's apart of IE7...

Open Internet Explorer
Press F10
Go to Tools, Internet Options.
Go to the Content's Tab
Go down to AutoComplete
Uncheck the user names and passwords; and prompt me to save passwords.
Say OK to all and back, back out.

That should help.

Thanks

Its done the trick
