Password issue

Hello,

I've looked thru the posts and can't find an answer to a similar problem I
am having. On my Sony Vaio after years of use; it just today is asking me to
sign in to my account. If I set a password 4 years ago, I can't seem to load
it correctly and now my daughter is locked out of that computer.

I could use all the suggestions to fix this problem as she has school work
in that PC.

Try leaving the password blank;
