With that little information??
How's outlook setup (SMTP/POP3, IMAP, Exchange server)? Does Outlook use
password protected PST file (a.k.a personal folder)?
- A dial-up connection to your ISP?
- A .pst file password upon trying to load it in Outlook?
- A password for Outlook to log onto your e-mail account?
- Something else?
My Outlook set up is SMTP/POP3 to a yahoo account. The password is for the
pst file which until 10 days ago, only aksed for the PW once. Now it asks
for it twice.

Do you only have one .pst file (message store) open in Outlook? Check
if you have another root node listed in the tree list but perhaps
collapsed. Maybe you are trying to open the same .pst file twice, or
loading 2 .pst files which both have passwords.
Have you tried loading Outlook in its safe mode ("outlook.exe /safe")
which does not load any add-ons or COM plug-ins for Outlook? Still get
the prompt?
Have you removed the password from your .pst file? After doing that and
exiting and reloading Outlook, do you get a password prompt at all for
the .pst file?
