i used to have a password for logging onto windows but got rid of that one pretty easy

this is a different password, when i log on to windows ME i get asked to 'enter network password for microsoft networking'. this has occured since i had modem problems. i took it to a friend who changed some network settings etc to get the modem up and running now. unfortunately he cant quite remember what he added or removed to sort it out. i cant bypass the password simply enough i just wondered how i went about completely removing it so that it doesnt appear on start up

thanks in advance for your hel
