Hi Folks,

I recently migrated my PST files into my New PC, when i tried to add the
mals into my Mailbox from the old PST files, it is asking for a password, I
am very sure i never had a password protection for my pst files.

I was just wondering if there is a default password that is set up for PST
files.
Inputs in this regards ould be apppreciated.

Thanks
Bala

There is no default password, you have to physically password protect a pst.
How exactly did you migrate your pst and try to add it to your current PC?

Howdy,

You might try:

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/pst_password.html

It is a free utility that will tell you the password on the
PST file.

It was suggested to me about a year ago when, out of
nowhere, my PST somehow decided that it was password
protected.

With the help of the utility, it was unlocked in moments.

All the best,
