You can use the built in ZIP compression of WindowsXP and create a ZIP
folder. Once you copy files to this folder you can password protect. The
only problem with it is that once you set the password, any new file you add
to this folder is not protected and you have to remove password and then set
new password.
There are other programs that probably can do the same and better but the
ZIP is included with WindowsXP.
