Password expiration

Is it possible to turn the expiration off? I don't feel that I need to
change it every 3 months at home.
Home Premium.

Not sure how you got it set to 3 months, but you can try this

Open up an Admin command prompt. Start > cmd (hold down ctrl and shift,
before pressing enter)

Then enter / paste this command

net accounts /maxpwage:unlimited

I have exactly the same problem but when I tried the solution below it said
'access denied' - any suggestions gratefully recevied.
