Password Change Certificates problem

On my home Windows XP Pro SP2 machine, I change password. After that I can
not use my personal certificate in mp personal stor.
I have several certificate, some of them I had no backup.
Two things I like to do:
1. When I change password, I get the same error, and I have to reimport my
certificates. I do not what to do that every time I change password.
2. The second thing, that I would like to do, is gain access to my
certificate, that I can not access now. I can not export private key.
Original password I forgot. So I reset it.

Are you referring to EFS encrypted files or what?? With EFS your password is
the key to unlocking your EFS private key and if you forgot your password
you are out of luck if you do not have a backup of your EFS
certificate/private key in a password protected .pfx file. --- Steve

Jester day I import again certificate for VPN in my personal store, and VPN
works. I change password, restart computer, boom it does not work !
