I am curious how do you get rid of this password when i
start my computer ? I didn't set a password on my
computer so how can i just log in without any require of
password ?

This appears to be a one shot deal. Once you do this you
may never have the option to put password security back
on your startup.

This is from page 66 of Windows XP for Dummies;

"If you're not working on a network, disable the network
password request by double-clicking the Control Panel's
User Accounts icon and choosing Remove My Password."

Good luck, I've never tried it.

Hi,

1. Go to Start/Run and type in: control userpasswords2 and press ok.

2. On the Users tab, clear the Users Must Enter A User Name And Password To
Use This Computer check box and then click OK.

3. In the Automatically Log On dialog box that appears, type the user name
and password for the account you want to be logged on each time you start
your computer.

Add Control UserPasswords2 to the Control Panel (Line 1)
