Parts of window boxes won't close

I'm running Vista Home Preminum on a New Gateway Centrino laptop from
Bestbuy. I am having an on-going problem when I open and close multiple
windows. From time to time, part of the window box will not close and
disappear. This "Ghost" box will remain on the display and will not go away
no matter how many new windows are opened or close. The only way to get rid
of it is to reboot. A huge pain in the rear.

Any ideas?? Going out of my mind here.

Right click on the desktop. Choose refresh.

BTW: your problem is indicative of underlying video subsystem problems. Make
sure you get the latest video drivers for your video card from the
manufacturers web site.
