Hello all!
I have partitioned my hard drive into several different
segments one I made especially for page file.
is there any way to put a block on this partition where no
one(or anything) can write to it?
any input appreciated
TIA
Ed

Try setting the NTFS permissions so that only the SYSTEM
and admin accounts can access that partition.

If the "page file" occupies the whole partition, ther won't be any free
space for "others" to write to it.

if you want to go this route, then you should make the swap file a fixed
size (min=max=disksize).
