not looked carefully enough.

Go to 'Start' Right click 'My Computer' and click 'manage' in the drop down
menu then click 'Disk Manager' under the storage heading

You use setup if partitioning your main drive. You'll lose any data in any partition you change.

You currently have one large drive partition into one partitions. You have
several choices:

Use a program such as Symantec {PowerQuest} Partition Magic to reduce
the size of your current partition and create a new partition in the space
made available.

Use a program such as Symantec {PowerQuest} Drive Image or Symantec
Ghost to image your current drive partition to CDs or DVDs. Use your Windows
XP CD or the Drive Image CD to delete the current partition and create a new
one of the size desired. Then restore your image to the new partition. After
you restore and boot to Windows XP go to Disk Management and create a new
partition is the unused space.
