Partitioning disc drive for dual boot install

How do you partition disc drive for adding Windows ME to a
new XP Pro operating system Compaq 2500 notebook. I can
find nothing on MS website that answers this question. Need
dual boot installation because of what XP Pro does not support.
Me works fine on all our old networks and applications.

You can not modify the partition Windows XP is on with Windows native
tools and preserve data.

You need a 3rd party application:
http://www.bootitng.com/
http://www.powerquest.com/partitionmagic/

Also, if you have a Restore partition and no actual Windows/restore
CD, this will most likely destroy that partition as well.
