Partition Magic 2002 and XP home

I want to resize a NTFS partition with Partition Magic 2002 and wonder
if anyone has had data lost doing this? I have used it for FAT32
partitions and never had a problem. I have backed up my system so I don't
have to worry but want to know what snags I may come across. Thanks.

i've never had any problems with partition magic. i use it all the time.
but ALWAYS backup your data first.

One can lose ALL data in half a second by doing so.

Provided it is at least version 7.01, and preferably version 8, it
should give no trouble. But *always' have a fresh backup of data just
in case of a disaster like a power failure at a critical moment
