Partition gone since reload of XP Home

I had to reload XP Home unexpectedly, and I have "lost" one partition on my
second hard drive. Here is my setup... There is one hard drive with only one
partition, and a second hard drive, with 3 partitions: an NTFS, FAT32, and a
FAT partition. Since reloading, I see the first hard drive (C:), and the
NTFS (E:) and FAT (D:) partition on the second hard drive. The FAT32 does
not show in My Computer.

However, when I go to Computer Management, I see the "missing" partition,
and it's showing as healthy and active. I right click on it to assign a
drive letter, and all options, except delete partition and Help, are grayed
out. Is there a way I can recover this partition and make it a recognizable
drive? I certainly hope so. It has data on it not backed up anywhere else.

I would appreciate any help on this matter.

I would suspect the presence of an "Autoplay.ini' file in the root of the
drive. Delete it, if present.

Mark,

Thanks for your response. That could be it. Just not sure how to check
it....
I can't open the partition via Computer Management, and it's not recognized
in my computer. It's showing as file type unknown with no drive letter (but
showing as Healthy/Active). Not sure how I can check for the Autoplay.ini.
Any ideas?

Thanks!
