Using XP Pro I did a backup on to a USB drive. Con I recover "some" of the
back-up info, selectively? I just need some of the files. Can I do this and
how?
Thanks, Ron

What application did you utilize to do the backup (specifically) and what
does the instructions/help about said product tell you when you read them?

If you used a third-party utility, probably. I don't think such
action is possible with Windows pitiful backup utility.

Acronis True Image permits doing that, and right from within Windows
using its backup browser.

Yes, XP's utility will allow it. It will present an Explorer like
window in which you simply tick the files you want recovered, then tell
it to put them back there they came from or to a new location. It's
available with or without using the wizard.
