Parse Exception error in XAML file for Silverlight Application

Alex. O. Koranteng

I am getting a System.WIndows.MArkUp.XAML parse exception error when I build
my Silverlight application. The specific error detail is shown below. I am
defining my styling in a resource file but cannot track down the source of my
error. I got this sample application from a prersentation form MIX08 from the
the following
link:http://scorbs.com/2008/03/09/mix08-...-user-interfaces-with-silverlight-2-controls/
and the specific project is the Sampleform project. Will appreciate any
sugghetsions

"Invalid attribute value controls:Button for property TargetType. [Line: 44
Position: 66]"

Thanks

Hi Alex,

I download the sample from that site and open the SampleForm solution in my
Visual Studio. I can compile it correctly. Have you modified any parts in
that solution? Could you please elaborate more? If you can share your last
version project, that will be helpful. You can contact me via email. I
think you know my email address, right?

Have a nice day, sir!

Hi Colbert,

I was curious were the AdoNet part came in this sample, and clicked
everywhere, can you give me a clue?

Hello Alex,

I am writing to check the status of this issue in your side. Have you made
the sample work? For it is not related to this newsgroup's topic ADO.NET. I
would suggest to find a more appropriate place to raise it. Currently,
microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.aspnet is a better for discussion of
Silverlight issues. Or you can try to post in the official Silverlight
forums,
http://silverlight.net/forums/

Colbert,

Sorry for not getting back to you earlier. I cannot make things to work.
Could you please email me your working sample. Will appreciate that.

THanks
