Parasite?

Thanks to all who helped with previous post,but problem is
still there. Whenever I open IE the same three pages keep
opening until computer freezes. I have installed program
from winhelp2002, I have edited Register, and a host of
other fixes. What I want to know is, can I uninstall IE
and reinstall to maybe lose the parasite I have, or is
this problem attached to my IP address? For ref the
address's that keep opening up are:
x* dot offeroptimizer,
ron_context dot php,
anti-inc2 dot html

HijackThis should help. Merely installing an app like Ad-Aware or Spybot
won't (and running either of them is useless if you don't seek updates
before each use, even "right out of the box".

These days most of us are recommending HijackThis to identify and assist in
the removal of these bad guys. **Post your files to any of the following
forums, not here:**

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.
