Parameter query in a form?

D

da-moe

I am addressing both groups becuase my question sort of crosses some lines.
I want users to be able to run a parameter query from a for. But I want them
to choose the parameter from a list box/drop down of codes so they wont
have to memorize the list. The list is of codes for a set group of class
names and IS available from a table. How do I create this query-form?

Thanks.

Have you seen the article on the Microsoft website about designing a form to
pass query parameters? I believe you would be able to use that, and place
combo/list boxes in place of text boxes.

The article is pretty detailed and includes code samples and step by step
query, form and report design.

Hah! I just remebered I bookmarked it:
