Parallel to US

I have a parallel printer, but now have a pc with only USB ports.

Is there a cable available (in the UK) that will allow me to connect
my printer to my new computer.

Yes - try google - I found one just 2 hours ago.

Sorry, haven't got the reference, but they exist and are around 16 quid.

The alternative, if you have more than one PC you might want to print
from, is to get a print server and network the printer. Where are you in
the UK..? I have just upgraded my printer to a model with a built in print
server so I have a spare Emulex print server box that has both parallel
and serial (remember serial printers..?!) outputs. Plug-top PSU runs a bit
hot but it works fine.

Please put:

usb parallel

into froogle.google.co.uk

There's dozens of pages of them, all available in GB.

They all look much for much alike, you'll obviously need to check for OS
compatibility.
