parallel port reinstalls at every boot

Every time I reboot my machine, I get the "found new
hardware" notification and the system reinstalls my
parallel port driver. Its a Dell 4500, and the parallel
port is integrated on the motherboard.
Any idea how I can stop this?

Tim- Try going to Dell's support site? They usually have
the lastest updates for drivers that are pertinent for
your hardware. Worked for me with my Dell when I had
problems with the PCI controller, because MS Update didnt
pick it up.
