Panda Software Active Scan

I feel I practice safe computing 100% of the time. I run Trend Micro
Internet security and scan every day. I also run Microsoft Aniti Spywear
Beta and scan every night. Today just playing around I ran Trend Micro
online scan that found a few cookies. I then ran Panda Software Active
Scan and it said it found 103 pieces of Spywear. Could this be possible?
Or is this a scam for me to buy there Virus protector?

Panda is a legitimate site but it does tend to be a little aggresive in
flagging things as spyware. I always check the files in question before
getting rid of them. Use Windows Explorer to browse to the file and then
check the properties and the Version tab to see if you can figure out what
the file is before getting rid of it.

There free on line scanner will not remove anything. It wants you to buy
there product. What a waste of my time.

It does find some malware that other sites don't. You just have to be
careful before deleting what it finds. Often once it identifies something
you can google it and find out how to remove it. It can be a useful site.
You get what you pay for :)
