Panda ghost ?

Gargamel

Hello !

About a year ago, I uninstalled Panda Platinum 7 from my PC, and installed
Avast! - No problem...
But Panda Antivirus is always listed, e.g. by Belarc Advisor or PC Wizard.

I searched but didn't find any old file of Panda. No old key in Regedit...

That is probably only cosmetic, but maybe there is a fix ?

Thank you very much.

Hi

There still could be an entry in the Registry that Belarc is picking up on
for Panda.

I just tried:
- program uninstalled, all "*.bci" archive wiped, then reboot;
- system cleaned by CCleaner, then B.Advisor 7.2a reinstalled.

But I have the same detection of:
- a fake "Panda Antivirus Platinum 7 Version 7.07.02 (Realtime File Scanning
Off)",
- besides a real "avast! antivirus 4.7.871 [VPS 0634-2] Version 4.7.871
(Realtime File Scanning On)"

I thank you both for your attention...
