Pan over a photograph

C

Cecil

I'm VERY NEW to the use of Windows Movie Maker.

Does Windows Movie Maker have a tool that allows you to
pan and zoom a photograph? We have family photo and we
want to slowly zoom-in on the faces of specific
individuals as we tell a short store of that person.

If Windows Movie Maker does not provide this
functionality, are there any suggestions how this might be
accomplished? Is there another Windows based application
that works with Movie Maker that can handle this
requirement?

Thanks, Cecil:)

Hi Cecil,

Pixelan sells a package of Pan/Zoom effects that work with Movie Maker. See
the Editing... Video... Effects page of www.papajohn.org for some info,
examples and a link to them.

You can also bring photostories you've created with MS Photostory into Movie
Maker to add titles, effects and transitions once you're done.

If I understand you correctly, you can do this with a new
program that Microsoft has just issued called Microsoft
Plus! Digital Editor. (ps. I am not certain of that name
but if you search for it in Google and enter the Microsoft
Plus! You should find it with no problem.)

From your description below, I believe that this will help
you out considerably.
