Palm Pilot, Com 1, Com 2

Since my upgrade to Windows 2000 my palm pilot no longer
will hot sync. My Com 1 and Com 2 ports say they are not
working properly. Removing and trying to reinstall does
not work. Any ideas on how to correct?
