Palm OS and windows xp Pro

I have a palm Tungsten T3 handheld device and my hard drive crashed. I cant
get the device to Hotsync anymore and Palm tells me to change the port its
on. In the help thingy it tells me to go to device manager and double click
on ports. Where the heck is ports? I see nothing that says ports. HELP!
 
I should probably add that I replaced the hard drive before you think Im an
idiot whose trying to hotsync without a functional OS.
