Hi

Dos anyone know why I keep getting the error message 'this page cannot be
displayed' in Internet Explorer 6 (with SP2 download)?

I know this is a fault with my computer because the same links are fine on
my laptop - which also has IE6 with SP2.

Both pcs run XP Home.

Hi Jackie :-)

Hi Ramesh

I did the following:
Click Start, Run and type this command
REGSVR32 JSCRIPT

This seems to have sorted my problem! What exactly did I just run on my
computer?

Thanks
Jackie

Hi Jackie :-)

I'm not Ramesh, but, I posted one of his many fixes for various problems.
What you actually did was to re-register the Javascript.dll file, which was
obviously damaged somehow and causing the problem. You did not actually
'run' anything, the 'Run' is simply the function where you entered the
command in the window to re-register it the JScript file.

Glad to hear you were able to resolve your problem.
Good job!

Thank you for posting back and letting us know what worked for you, and for
the benefit of other readers who might have a similar problem. :-)

Hi Jan

I can't thank you enough for your help. That little Java file appears to
have solved another problem I was having - uninstalling Norton AntiVirus. I
don;t know if this is a coincidence but I am happy to credit you with the fix!

Many thanks
