Pages not staying loaded in memory

All of a sudden pages that I have visited do not stay
loaded in memory. What has happened is that when I load a
page say bbc news page and I click on a story, when i
click back to go back to previous page, it loads the page
all over again instead of it having been saved in memory.

My browser is saving temp internet files and I cannot
find anything wrong with it.

Can anyone help??
 
Come on guys and girls. Someone must know the answer 2 my
question!!!
