Pages not responding

Hi
I've Xp pro & recently certain sites are ok at 1st & then i get the 'not
responding' message & all freezes.
Anyone help, i run IE & Spybot, Adaware & AVG.
It happens on all sites especially my college one that i need most!

How do you connect to the Internet (method/ISP)? What hardware and
network setup? Since you apparently could browse successfully before,
what changed between the time things worked and the time they didn't?
