Pagefile

I have a system that keeps reporting virtual memory
errors. It has 512 MB RAM so I've set the pagefile to
768 - 1024. The problem is that, despite the custom
settings for the pagefile, it will go no larger than 382
MB. It changes temporarily (sometimes) after setting it,
but after a reboot it goes right back to 382 MB, even
though the custom setting is still set for a minimum of
768.

Any ideas?

Hello,

I appreciate the refresher course on pagefile basics, but
does anyone have any other information beyond the basics
that may be of use to getting this resolved? Setting no
pagefile or moving it to a different partition is having
no affect.
