Pagefile

David

Does anyone knows how to restore pagefile to win2K pro, it
refuses to let me in to: My Computer/Advanced etc, etc to
change the size of Pagefile. I have tried different memory
on the same machine. I have tried slaving the HD (D:) and
thru current My Computer (C:) to navigate to the slave
drive and enter the correct size , no avail.
Thanks for the help
David

Well... we're not mind readers. You failed to mention that. AFAIK two
possibilities for this. The boot partition drive letter has changed or the
drive permissions have changed.

For the former;

Unable to Log on if the Boot Partition Drive Letter Has Changed

For the latter;

The in-place will restore default NTFS permissions to the drive.
