Page Views Disappeared

Underneath the page you have opened to edit is usually a
panel which says Html view, split view, preview and another
one I forget. But these options have disappeared
completely, now I'm stuck on HTML view and I can't change
it. I reinstalled Frontpage 2003 totally, and also repaired
all the settings back to default but I still can't change
it. Help please?

I solved my own problem, it happened because I was opening
a .php page for editing. Can Frontpage not handle php
pages? Does it usually give the proper view settings? How
do I stop it screwing up for me if it can manage php?

In fp 03 hit tools/ options/ configure editors, find php and select (by
moving up in the list) open as html.

there are lots of little things for using FrontPage with php. none of them
are really that big of a deal but using the tricks really improves your
working ability in FrontPage for php code.
