Page Size Resolution Proportions OFF

When working in FrontPage 2002 the resolution/page size of the Normal and
Preview page do not match the width in the browser preview. Columns in my
view while creating pages do not match the columns when the page is view in a
browser. This makes it difficult to create tables; the only way to see what
you are getting is to continually preview the page in a browser. I have seen
some discussion seemingly related to this issue but no solutions. The page
size option in FrontPage 2003 may solve the problem but I have 2002 and no
reasonable chance of getting 2003 any time soon (red tape and such). This is
not a browser resolution issue, where I preview incorrectly Front page is
wrapping text in the Normal and Preview page but not at the same place in the
published page.

You have to view your page in the browser, as that is how you page will be seen, and then keep in
mind that each user browser's window opening will be different as well.

In FrontPage 2000 and 2002 you can change the width of the Normal view
design pane by dragging the left edge with the mouse. Use the browser
opened to the Window size (example 800x600) you are designing to as a
size guide.
When you design your page, allow 40px for the vertical scrollbar and
other browser chrome.
FP2003 allows this to be set as an option.

As Thomas indicated - users are fickle and seldom have the browser
opened to the dimensions you want them to use.
