Page setup for multiple worksheets

I have a several Excel 2000 files, each containing 50 or so tabs. The files
were built without a footer. I want to add the &tab footer to each
worksheet at once. When I select all sheet tabs, go to page setup and add
the footer, it only appears on the first tab. Is there a way I can change
page setup features for all pages in the workbook?

I can't reproduce that (excel 2000 and 2003)
First select all sheets, do the page setup. Keep the sheets grouped
go to the preview and check.? Also you have to have something to
print on the sheets
