page numbers option unavailable

Just upgraded from 2003 to 2007. Can't insert page numbers in word
documents. Grayed-out. Recommended resolution was to replace language ID,
but Document Building Blocks folder was empty. What's going on??

Exit word and then delete the Building Blocks.dotx template, found somewhere
in the user profile (you can search for it in Windows). Then restart Word
and the template will be recreated.
