Page numbers are skipping in document

Why are my document page numbers skipping? The page following 182 jumps to
185 and then continues. The document also ignores my command to center the
page number. It puts it flush left. Sign me frustrated!

Your document probably contains one or more continuous section breaks on
page 182. You can see them more easily if you switch to Normal view.
If the section breaks aren't needed, then delete them. If they are
needed, then modify the header/footer in the continuous sections to have
centered continuous page numbers.
