I am trying to set up a Word 2003 document that has a Page# of # of Pages in
the header of each section, and the running page number for the entire
document in the footerof the document?

I am a bit confused by your question, but if you want to show the total
number of pages separate from the running page number, use two fields:
PAGE for the running pagenr in the footer, and NUMPAGES for the total
number of pages in the document, in the header. You can also use the
field SECTIONPAGES for the total number of pages in the section, and
make combinations. HTH, Henk

It sort of help. What I am doing is putting a specification book for a
construction project. I have a header in each section that shows "Page 1 of
2" and in the footer I have the "book" page number. So a page could be "2 of
5" in a section and be page 20 in the book.

With your suggestion, I got the page number of the section to work, but
still get the total number of pages for the book and not just of that
section. Any other ideas?
