Page not to open maximized

Whatever size IE was, when you close the last instance of it prior, is the size that it will
re-open.

Is there a way I can force the site not to open maximized on other computers.
I am new and I am trying to resolve a resolution problem without having to
redo the whole site. Again I am inexperenced. www.synkoassociates.com

Yes.

Yes, and it shows. Most people have their browser's window set to a certain
size for a reason. Don't try to second guess them.
Plus, I really don't think your site's appearance will be enhanced if I view
it at 1600 x 1200 (my monitor's resolution).

Your site doesn't open full screen, it open in whatever size the user last had IE open to. I
wouldn't spend time worrying about this, as you have no control over the size that a user will
choose to browse your site.

You could change your table width from 770 to 100% to see how that looks in
different sized browser windows.

While it is possible to force a browser to open full screen it is a very bad
idea. People have their browsers set to the size they use for a reason. Plus
you have no idea what size "full size" is. I'd be willing to bet your page
would look really bad if forced full screen on my computer. My resolution is
1050x1400 because I use a hgih resolution tablet pc in portrait orientation.
Very, very few web pages would like anything other than silly at that size.

One of the first things you must learn to be a sucesssful web designer is
that you have no control over your visitor's computer or how they view your
pages. I could jsut as well be viewing it on either of the two other devices
on my desk. One is a Pocket PC that uses a wireless card to browse the
internet and the other a Mac Powerbook. Neither display a page the same way
my tablet does.
