Page Markers keep moving

I use word 2002 (sp3) and now that I have this last update my page markers
keep moving when I am trying to re align text to tabs. As I click the tab
the page markers move all weird to me. How Can I have the page markers
remain in fixed position only.

I should say Margin (not marker) keeps moving when I try to re align a page
using a tab key.

Are you sure you're setting tabs and not moving the indent markers? See
