I have a terminal server that currently has 1 GB of RAM. I
see that the recommended page file size be 1.5 - 2.5 times
the amount of RAM you have. I have created a separate
partition, so I could create a 4 GB page file. Why would I
not want to do this?

This "rule of thumb" comed from the days when machines had only a small
amount of RAM.

With 1 gig of RAM the page file will probably not be used much...
I'd just let windows regulate the size and not worry about it.
OTOH: A 4 gig page file will certainly not harm anything...it just might
waste a little harddrive space.
