Page File Problem

Im New To Win2000 Pro And I need some Help, When I log in to any user on my user tree i get a page file Error it says someting about page file not found and it says how to fix it but when i do follow the directions and reboot it still pops up on login and when i go back to the performance Options screen its back to 20 MB and thats after i made the file larger
