Page fault in non paged area

I am upgrading from ME to XP Home. The setup seems to go
smoothly, then when XP tries to boot the error
message "page fault in non paged area" appears. I have to
reboot and get the same problem. I was not able to revert
back to ME without reinstalling. Thanks for your help.
 
Check youre ram,page fault deals with virtual memory which
gets its amount from total ram installed,you probably need more.
