Page Fault Error when Printing....

Paul Squillace

Hello:
I have a weird Problem with my Microsoft Excel 2000.
When I open any file and go to print it I get this error:

EXCEL caused a general protection fault
in module HPBF0310.DRV at 0035:00000a7b.

Then it forces me to close the program. I have installed
all the service packs out there and even uninstalled and
re installed and still the same problem.

If anyone has any thoughts on this please let me know.

Thanks,

Paul

Have you checked your printer drivers? Have you uninstalled the printer and
reinstalled?

Judging by the error message and module that is generating the error, this
is with a HP printer driver that is installed. Considering that this happens
when you go to print a file (any file) this could quite well be a printer
issue. It may work fine in another application to printer, but the driver
may still be a little bung.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Franksta:
Worked like a charm. I had an old driver
installed in there and found an updated one.

thanks again for your help in this.
