IE works fine for a while after a reboot, but if I leave the computer alone
for a while it starts acting up. It gives the Page Cannot Be Displayed
error. Sometimes when it does this my email will still work and sometimes it
won't (using Outlook, not Express.) If I reboot, IE works again but
eventually the dance begins again.
Running XP Pro SP2, IE6, Norton AntiVirus, ZoneAlarm standard. Spybot shows
no threats.
Computer is connected to a cable modem and wireless router. Computer in
question is connected to router by wire, but I know it's not an ISP outage or
anything like that because the other computer in the house (connected by
wifi) works fine all the time, even when this one is acting up.
What gives? What could be causing connectivity to stop working, only to be
restored by a restart? (I'm getting tired of rebooting several times a day!)
