Page called is skipped over

I am currently working on a website entering data for a
soccer league. When I call a page up via a search box,
the window I start from reappears, not the one I called.
However, if I go back one page (via BSpace or Back
Button), the called page resides there.

What would cause my browser to call a page, and then re-
send itself to the page prior to the one called?

In a nutshell, I am on page A. I call page B, but Page A
is displayed. I go back one page and B is there, go back
again and A is there.

I have used this website for at least 6m, and never had
this problem before.
